Gary Nichols
CEO
With a visionary perspective and a wealth of experience in technology leadership, Gary Nichols serves as the CEO of InterDev, guiding the company towards innovation and excellence.
Gary’s journey through the dynamic landscape of technology spans over several decades, during which he has led InterDev in strategic planning, business development, and fostering client centric solutions. Gary’s leadership style is marked by a deep commitment to his employees and clients, cultivating a culture of collaboration, trust, innovation, and continuous growth.
Under Gary’s guidance, InterDev has flourished in providing managed IT services and solutions. This has resulted in a foundation based on embracing emerging technologies and trends while ensuring that InterDev’s clients are equipped with the technology required to effectively navigate the demands of today’s highly complex digital business landscape.
Gary earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Georgia State University, is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and is currently working on a master’s degree in Cybersecurity at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Gary has served on the Advisory Board of the National Technology Security Coalition and volunteers with TAG-Ed, FutureCity.org, and Habitat for Humanity.

Jason Brookins
COO
Serving as the Chief Operating Officer, Jason Brookins is a dynamic and results-driven executive who brings a wealth of experience in the technology and operations space. With a proven track record of success, Jason has recently transitioned from the role of Chief Information Officer (CIO) to Chief Operating Officer (COO), showcasing a unique blend of strategic vision and operational excellence.
In his most recent role as CIO, Jason played a pivotal role in shaping and executing the technology strategy for the Clayton County Board of Commissioners. Under his leadership, the technology landscape underwent a transformative evolution, ensuring that the organization remained at the forefront of industry trends. He spearheaded initiatives that not only enhanced the overall IT infrastructure but also fostered a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability.
Now, in his role as COO, Jason brings this same dedication and strategic acumen to the broader operational aspects of the business. He is tasked with overseeing the day-to-day operations, streamlining processes, and driving organizational efficiency. Jason’s unique background as a former CIO position him to bring a technology-centric perspective to the operational challenges faced by the company.
He holds a Graduate Certificate in Management & Leadership and an Executive Certificate in Public Administration from Liberty University, a Master of Public Administration from Purdue University Global and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Technology Management from Clayton State University. In addition, he holds a Certified Government Chief Information Officers (CGCIO) and Local Government Chief Information Officer (LGCIO) and Certified Public Manager (CPM) certifications from the University of Georgia.
Daniel Schultheiss
CIO
With his extensive expertise in information technology and systems security, and strong professional training in IT solutions ranging from data centers and cloud computing to networking, Daniel Schultheiss is the cornerstone of InterDev’s IT practice. He provides high-level analysis of the IT infrastructure of organizations – from corporations to municipalities – and offers recommendations on how they can achieve their goals.
During his tenure at InterDev, Daniel has played a key role in InterDev’s growth, as the firm expanded its expertise to embrace emerging technology and security disciplines that have now become mission critical to firms of all sizes. One of his most significant achievements was helping to develop and implement InterDev’s Managed Services platform in 2006 – his first year with the firm. He also served as IT Manager for the City of Sandy Springs from 2011-2013, and helped InterDev launch its Government Services division in 2014.
Daniel holds a CISSP certification and is a Certified Ethical Hacker. He is also a member of the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG). Daniel graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering.
Allison Shih
Chief Revenue Officer
Allison Shih is an accomplished and dynamic business leader with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and enabling high-performance teams in the competitive landscape of the technology industry. With an unwavering passion for results and commitment to excellence, she is a strategic visionary known for her ability to transform business and propel them to new heights.
As the Chief Revenue Officer at InterDev, Allison is at the forefront of the organization’s revenue strategy and execution. With an innate ability to identify opportunities and create innovative solutions, Shih is delivering outstanding results by optimizing revenue streams and increasing profitability. Prior to joining InterDev, Mrs. Shih served as the Head of Sales and Strategy at ImagineX Consulting and the Director of Sales and Strategy at Digital Realty.
Allison Shih actively blends her corporate career with a purpose-driven life. Shih serves on multiple non-profit Boards including Atlanta Technology Professionals, IT Girls Foundation, and New Hope Children’s Village. As a mother of 4 kids, you can also find Allison at various sporting activities either coaching on the field or cheering from the sidelines.
Allison has 17+ years of experience in the technology industry and holds a B.B.A Marketing degree from The University of Georgia. Go Dawgs!
Aaron Fowler
Information Security Manager
Aaron Fowler is an Information Security expert with over 15 years of experience in the field. His knowledge and expertise of current and future security challenges to both US Government and private sector businesses ensures effective management, preparedness, and response measures that obviate business-disrupting operational incidents and risks.
Most recently, Aaron spent the past four years as a security executive at one of Atlanta’s top insurance adjusting firms. He oversaw the firm’s nationwide enterprise solution and managed three major security initiatives to meet ISO27001, NIST 800-53R5, and Data Privacy standards and guidelines compliance. Through Aaron’s guidance and initiatives, the firm was able to create vulnerability management implementation standards that comply with all ISO 27001 requirements.
Prior to his most recent role, Aaron supported US Government contractors with innovative security and enterprise risk management operational plans. These plans ensured the success of both CONUS and OCONUS program execution objectives to meet and execute critical warfighter missions.
Aaron is certified by ISACA as a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and is currently working on his CISSP certification. Aaron holds a Master of Science degree in Information Security and Assurance and a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology Security from Western Governors University.
Andy Summers
Director of Geospatial Services
Andy is an accomplished leader in the field of Geospatial technology. In his time with InterDev, he as managed complex public and private sector projects and served as GIS Manager for the City of Dunwoody, City of Sandy Springs, and City of Canton. Andy has dedicated his career to advancing the use of GIS in organizations by implementing strategies that align with business needs and supporting operations and initiatives that illuminate the tremendous value of GIS. He believes that success is achieved through strategy, leadership, and teamwork and focuses on accomplishing InterDev’s mission by strengthening his team and developing leaders.
Prior to joining InterDev, Andy served as the GIS Coordinator for City of Marietta, GIS Manager for Douglas County Government, and then managed statewide initiatives at the Georgia Department of Transportation as the Local Government Coordinator.
Andy has a BA in Geography from the University of Georgia and is certified as GIS Professional (GISP) and Project Management Professional (PMP).
Lewis Wilkinson, Sr.
Project Management
Lewis Wilkinson, Sr. heads InterDev’s Project Management Office, where he and his team work closely with government, commercial, and vendor principals to ensure the success of project work and the satisfaction of all parties. With a deep understanding of the complex interactions of software and technology deployments – and how they impact business processes – Lewis provides the structure, guidance, and communications to promote optimal results for InterDev clients. Projects Lewis successfully manages involve enterprise-wide ERP software, security and risk management assessments, technology infrastructure upgrades, and Managed Services deployments.
Since joining InterDev in 2011, Lewis has helped to build InterDev’s Project Management Office. He has also worked extensively with BS&A, Tyler Munis, Tyler Incode, New World Systems, CIS CSC security framework, and the ESRI GIS software suite, helping InterDev and its clients reap these platforms’ benefits.
Lewis is a certified Project Manager (PMP) as recognized by the Project Management Institute and an Agile Certified Scrum Manager (CSM). He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Computer Science from Wake Forest University.
Jeff Colonna
Corporate Controller
Jeff Colonna joined InterDev in 2019 in the role of Corporate Controller. In this position, he is responsible for the leadership of all accounting and finance functions. Since joining the firm, he has successfully transformed many of the financial processes of the company by incorporating new technologies that promote efficiency.
Colonna began his career with the international accounting firm Deloitte, where he specialized in auditing publicly traded technology companies. He later moved to the corporate accounting sector where he held several controller and director-level roles with small and large technology companies.
Colonna earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Connecticut and is currently a licensed CPA in the state of Georgia.
Randi Russell
Human Resources Manager
As an accomplished HR Manager with a proven track record, Randi specializes in fostering organizational growth and development through strategic human resource management. With a blend of leadership, interpersonal skills, and extensive industry knowledge, she is dedicated to creating a thriving workplace environment that empowers employees and drives business success. Randi directs core HR functions including Strategic HR planning, Talent Acquisition & Recruitment, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, HR Analytics, Employee Development and Training, Performance Management, Compensation and Benefits, and Compliance.
Prior to joining InterDev, Randi worked for a large retailer where she gained experience in operations, risk management, and human resources. Among her other professional accomplishments, she counts the successful establishment of a food distribution company that grew to $8MM in annual revenue as well as an extended tenure working in the commercial furniture industry where she attained increasing levels of responsibility in business operations, commercial services and human resources.
Russell studied Liberal Arts and Computer Science at DeKalb Community College and earned her certification as a SHRM-CP in 2018.
